What is a Decentralized System?
Decentralized system means all components are not in one location hidden anymore and redundant and functional. If one component breaks, all others keep functioning. And less cluttering installation In result of this. No more agglomeration on one point on big piles of equipment and cable. It saves a huge amount of wiring loudspeaker cable costs and also quality loss by long cable is completely avoided as only very short loudspeaker cables are used which is saving significant amounts of costs for it. And its plus point is it makes it all hidden and invisible in the various places and locations where these naturally can be adjusted.
What is a Centralized System?
Centralized system as the names says already holds the most resources and infrastructure in one centralized place like mostly for one or more centralized controllers. Centralized systems often suffer the problem that if this centralized system fails all systems fail and nothing in the whole building works anymore. This problem can be minimized when using a decentralized system. Another disadvantage of centralized system is that you also have to run the cables from the far end in to the point of centralization wasting a huge amount on expensive cables. Most centralized systems do not use modern technology of advanced networking.
What is SCLAN IP Audio network?
SCLAN IP audio network distributions are using already existing or on purpose built in-house Ethernet network or WiFi. Standard SOHO components without special characteristics can be used. In bigger installations 60+channels we recommend a network only for Audio. If you have a very performant network it will also run in bigger installations in parallel. What is I/Os?

WiFi Audio works but it should be avoided at all times as much as possible. Nothing is more stable than cable connection. All control works seamlessly with WIFI from your notebook or tablet or smartphone via browser, users must download and connect to the system via browser by giving an IP which you can store in bookmarks or on your desktop. don’t worry, it's brilliant and easy. If a client gives friends access to the URL they can use it immediately and it is always under the owner's control granting them access or not.
